Visit the nearby Theater of Dionysus, the oldest theater in Greece, and imagine the performances that once took place on its stage. You can also explore the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, an ancient amphitheater that still hosts performances today.

The day will be focused on the origins of democracy. For centuries, ancient Athenians experimented with a variety of political regimes until they invented the one that suit them best... or so they thought! Learn the backstory on how democracy was born, and understand its principles, its values, the purposes it served and, ultimately, the reasons for its failure.

After exploring the wonders of the Acropolis, you can continue your tour to other ancient sites in Athens. Visit the Ancient Agora, the marketplace that was the center of Athenian public life for centuries. Here you can see the Temple of Hephaestus, one of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples, and the Stoa of Attalos, a beautifully restored building that now houses a museum. You can also visit the Roman Agora, which was built during the Roman occupation of Athens and contains several notable buildings, including the Tower of the Winds, an ancient weather station. We will embark on a fascinating day tour of Ancient Mycenae and Nafplio in Greece and explore the rich history of this ancient civilization. Our journey begins at the ruins of Ancient Mycenae, where you can discover the fascinating culture that flourished here more than 3,500 years ago. Marvel at the imposing Lion Gate, the imposing Cyclopean walls, and the beehive-shaped tombs that have stood the test of time. Explore the palace complex and learn about the legendary King Agamemnon, who led the Greek forces in the Trojan War.

You can also visit the Archaeological Museum of Mycenae, where you can view an impressive collection of artifacts from the Bronze Age and learn about the excavation process.

After exploring the wonders of Ancient Mycenae, you will continue your tour to the picturesque seaside town of Nafplio. In the evening you will be free to take a stroll through the winding streets of the old town and admire the stunning Venetian architecture. Take a stroll through the old town and visit the Hydra Museum Historical Archives, which houses artifacts and documents related to the island's rich history. You can also visit the many art galleries and studios that dot the island and admire the works of local artists. Finally, relax with a coffee or a meal at one of the many waterfront restaurants and enjoy the stunning views of the Aegean Sea.

After exploring the wonders of Hydra, continue your tour to Ancient Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is renowned for its well-preserved theater, which is considered one of the best examples of ancient Greek theater architecture. Our next stop will be Monemvasia, the a hidden gem on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula and a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Greece. This medieval fortress town is perched on a rocky island connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway, creating a sense of mystery and enchantment for visitors. Take a stroll through the winding streets of the old town and admire the well-preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture, including the impressive 13th-century castle that dominates the town's skyline. Explore the town's many churches, museums, and galleries, which offer a glimpse into the rich history and culture of this fascinating destination.

We will visit Gytheion next, a delightful experience that offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Located on the southern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, this charming Greek town offers stunning views of the Laconian Gulf and is surrounded by hills covered with olive groves and citrus orchards. You will be free to explore the attractions of Gytheion, including the imposing lighthouse that dominates the harbor, the ruins of the ancient city of Gythio, and the beautiful churches that dot the town. Take a stroll through the old town and visit the many traditional tavernas and cafes that offer delicious local cuisine and refreshing drinks.

Today’s visit to the Diros Caves and Areopolis is a unique and memorable experience that offers a glimpse into the fascinating natural and cultural heritage of the Peloponnese peninsula. The Diros Caves are a breathtaking underground wonderland of stalactites and stalagmites, underground lakes, and winding passages. Visitors can explore the caves on a boat tour, which takes them through the crystal-clear waters of the underground lakes, and admire the stunning formations that have been shaped over millions of years. After the cave tour, we’ll head to the nearby town of Areopolis, a traditional Greek town that is famous for its well-preserved stone houses, narrow streets, and traditional tavernas. We’ll start our day by exploring the ancient ruins of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where visitors can walk in the footsteps of ancient athletes. It is here that the Olympic Games were first held over 2,700 years ago, and the site is steeped in the rich legacy of the ancient Greeks. Visitors can explore the ruins of the stadium, gymnasium, and temple of Zeus, as well as the ancient Olympic Village and the Archaeological Museum. Here, you can see some of the most impressive artifacts from the ancient world, including the famous statue of Hermes and the Nike of Paionios.

Afterwards, we will head to Patra and the Achaia Clauss Winery. Established in 1861, the winery is famous for producing high-quality wines using traditional methods. We will tour the facilities and learn about the history and techniques of wine-making. Afterwards, we will enjoy a wine-tasting session and sample some of the delicious wines produced by the winery, including the famous Mavrodaphne, a sweet red wine that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

We will return to Athens in the evening, where we will enjoy a special farewell dinner
